The Hampton Rovers Football Club is seeking applications for the role of Senior Women’s Coach for the 2027 season.
The Rovers are a proud community football club affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association, with a history dating back to 1929. In 2027, the club will field at least five teams in the VAFA, including Senior Women’s, Senior Men’s, Reserves, Thirds and Under 19s.
Women’s football is an important part of the Hampton Rovers. The club hosted the inaugural VAFA women’s match in 2017 and continues to support a strong pathway through multiple junior female teams competing in the SMJFL. We are committed to strengthening this pathway, improving the senior program and creating an environment in which our players can develop, enjoy their football and achieve success.
The Senior Women train and play across the club’s two home grounds, Boss James Reserve and Castlefield Reserve, both of which feature new, female-friendly facilities.
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, bring a positive and inclusive approach, and work collaboratively within the club’s broader football program. Previous coaching experience is preferred.
