The Hampton Rovers Football Club has insurance cover for all players who’ve paid their subs and officials, through the VAFA in conjunction with Marsh. As of 2024, this cover has been upgraded from Bronze to Gold. This insures our players and officials to assist them with recovering the majority of costs following treatment for injuries. For more information on how the insurance system works, visit: www.vafa.com.au/club-info/insurance
The program provides competitively broad protection across the following areas:
- Public & Products Liability (including Professional Indemnity)
- Club Management Liability
- Personal Injury
- Asset Protection
If you would like to know more about Asset Protection, please click here.
We do not have any insurance for loss of income. Any player who will suffer a loss of income if they are injured should take out their own loss of income insurance.
If you have a query regarding making an injury claim please speak to Dean Lovig or a committee member who will direct you to the appropriate person.
Making a Personal Injury Claim
If an injury occurs to one of the club’s players or volunteers, instructions on how to make a claim can be found on the Marsh website here.
