While the 2026 season is reaching the business end, the Hampton Rovers Football Club is already planning ahead for 2027.
The club is in a strong position, with at least three senior teams in finals contention and plenty of positive momentum both on and off the field. To continue building on that progress, we are seeking expressions of interest from people who may be interested in taking on a committee position or another important volunteer role next season.
A number of senior committee roles may become available for 2027, including the position of Senior President. Gary Nash announced earlier this year that the 2026 season would be his final year in the role following a lengthy and highly valued period leading the club.
The Rovers are fortunate to have a committed group of volunteers, but a community football club of this size can only continue to thrive when new people step forward and share the workload. The more people involved, the more sustainable the club becomes and the greater the opportunity to continue improving every area of our operations.
Committee involvement can take many forms, and you do not need to have previous football administration experience. We would love to hear from people with skills or an interest in areas such as leadership, football operations, events, sponsorship, finance, communications, membership, facilities, merchandise or general club administration.
There are also many other opportunities to help outside the committee, including general volunteer roles and match-day support. Whether you have a significant amount of time to contribute or can assist in a smaller capacity, every contribution makes a difference.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of the Hampton Rovers and play a meaningful role as the club continues building towards its centenary in 2029.
