Hampton Rovers Football Club will launch the 2024 season for its five senior teams on Saturday 6th April at Hotel Brighton, following round one matches for the U19s and Thirds.
We invite all players & partners, members and supporters as we launch the new VAFA season. Hear from the coaches including new senior coach Marty Pask, senior captain and the President.
Tickets are now on sale and are $20 each, or $10 for U19 players & students. Entry is complimentary for 2024 Club Members. Finger food is included with drinks available at bar prices. The function will be held from 7pm, upstairs in the Empire Room at our club sponsor, Hotel Brighton in Bay Street.
This year, the Under 19’s and Thirds commence their season one week ahead of the rest of the VAFA competition, earlier in the day on April 6, with the Senior Men and Women kicking-off the following weekend (April 13).
The Seniors have had solid practice matches against EDFL club Croydon and Premier B outfit St Bedes/Mentone. Next up is an intra-club match, before the season proper commences, with the Rovers hosting Oakleigh in round one at Trevor Barker Oval (Sandringham) on April 13 – view the full senior fixture.
From next week (April 2) training will be held Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, at Boss James Reserve. All new and existing men and women’s players are welcome to play for the Rovers in 2024!
