The VAFA has released the 2024 Premier C Men’s fixture, with the Rovers starting the new season with three consecutive home games.
The venues for all nine Hampton Rovers home games are currently listed as ‘TBA’ due to the redevelopment of the pavilion at Boss James Reserve, with the club currently exploring alternate venues to allow match day functions to continue.
The Rovers open the season with three home games – against the newly-promoted Oakleigh, followed by Parkdale Vultures and Monash Blues.
It’s a lopsided draw with the VAFA stating ground availability (School use and the Grand Prix) the cause (particularly Ajax, Marcellin, PEGS and Old Carey). The Rovers play six of their first eight games at home and just three of their last ten games at home.
The Rovers play reigning Premiers Glen Eira in round 9 at Packer Park and round 17 at home.
