The Hampton Rovers Football Club is seeking applications for the role of Under 19 Coach for the 2021 season.
The Rovers are affiliated in the Victorian Amateur Football Association and are a strong community club, with a proud history dating back to 1929. Season 2021 will see the club again field five teams in the VAFA – Seniors, Reserves, Thirds, Senior Women’s and Under 19’s.
The Under 19’s won the 2019 VAFA U19 Division 2 Premiership, with many of the players coming through the club’s large junior program which provides participation from Auskick through to the Seniors, playing at the club’s primary home ground at Boss James Reserve.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and previous coaching experience is preferred, but not essential. The Under 19 coach will work closely with the senior football department, including senior coach Anthony Quon.
