The Hampton Rovers Under 19s were the only team playing on the weekend and they steamrolled Old Camberwell by 92 points at Boss James Reserve.
The win is the Rovers fourth consecutive and elevates them into fourth position on the ladder.
In cold and blustery conditions at the Boss, the Rovers kicked against the wind in the opening term and the visitors kicked the first goal of the game, however a brilliant defensive display by the Rovers prevented them from kicking another for the entire game.
Two first-quarter goals were followed by five in the second, and that was matched in the second half, with the Rovers kicking 14.15. Tom Nicholls and Cam Jones were amongst the goals again, kicking three each, while Nathan Smith (2), Harry Hill and Ari Sakeson (1 each) were on the goal kickers list in their first appearance for the U19s this season.
Christian Carnovale, fresh off his first appearance in the seniors, was best for the Rovers and was well supported by David Broadstock, Hill, Sakeson, Smith and Zaina.
The U19s now have a week off along with all the other teams and will be back in action on Saturday 18th July taking on bottom-placed St Bernards at home.
