The Hampton Rovers Football Club requires additional Under 19 players for the 2013 season. The club currently has just over 20 players, but due to injuries and unavailability throughout the season, require at least another five players to be in a healthy position.
The Under 19s have a new coach this year in John Cesasio. John is a level 2 accredited coach, long-time junior coach at the Rovers and more recently senior coach at Emmaus St Leos (2010-11) and Elsternwick (2012) in the VAFA.
There is a great vibe at the Hampton Rovers in 2013 with a new president and senior coaching panel creating an influx of players which will ensure the senior teams have a successful year on the field. The senior section of the club has three open-age senior teams plus the Under 19s.
The club has great facilities including the best playing surface in Bayside and an exciting social environment with many functions planned throughout the year.
U19 training is held Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm at Boss James Reserve (corner David St & Bluff Rd, Hampton) with the majority of games on Saturdays commencing at 2:00pm (there are also two 11:40am & two 9:30am games for the remainder of the year). The season commenced on Saturday 13th April and runs through until the 24th of August. Being in the VAFA South section, the majority of games are in the local area.
