Hampton Rovers Football Club is pleased to announce Jay Watts as new Under 19 coach for the 2012 season.
Jay has a wealth of coaching experience at junior level at both East Sandringham and the Sandringham Dragons and is looking forward to furthering his coaching aspirations at U19 level.
In 2011, Jay was awarded the East Sandringham JFC clubman of the year and took his U14 Div 1 team to the premiership undefeated. He was also on the Interleague coaching staff at Sandringham Dragons and coached the U12 girls team at ESJFC to the premiership.
Jay was awarded the AFL Inner Southern Region junior coach of the year in 2009. Other roles and accolades include MSJFL U13 Interleague coach, coaching from U9s to U15s, East Sandringham JFC Football Department chairman 2011 and ESJFL Coaching coordinator 2010-2011.
Jay is looking forward to fostering and promoting enjoyment of the game for all U19 players in 2012, improving their skills, and developing players for senior football. The club is thrilled to have someone with Jays experience as U19 coach for the 2012 season.
