The Hampton Rovers are pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Quon as Under 19 coach for the 2008 season. The U19s had a great season in 2007 making the Grand Final led by Cameron McGregor and Anthony is looking forward to continue the success of the team.
The announcement follows the recent appointment of Paul Curry as new Reserves coach for the 2008 VAFA season and of course the re-appointment of senior coach Gary Sheldon.
Anthony has had a long involvement at the Hampton Rovers Football Club, playing for 10 years and several years on the committee. He captained the Under 19s to a Grand Final in 1998 and also captained the Reserves for 3 years including a Premiership in 2004. He has coached at junior level at the club and has coached many of the current crop of Under 19 players in the past.
New or past players are welcome to join current players at Pre-Season training which is currently being held Mondays and Wednesdays – meet at Boss James Reserve at 6:00pm. If you have any enquiries, please feel free to email info@hamptonrovers.com.au
