Hampton Rovers Football Club is pleased to announce the launch of its new tax deductible donation program through the Australian Sports Foundation.
Over many years, the club has regularly received enquiries from members, past players, supporters and local businesses looking for ways to make financial contributions to Hampton Rovers. Through the Australian Sports Foundation, supporters can now make tax deductible donations directly to the club.
The Australian Sports Foundation is Australia’s national sports fundraising charity and was established by the Federal Government to help community sporting organisations raise funds. Donations of $2 or more made through the Foundation are tax deductible.
The launch coincides with the introduction of the club’s new fundraising campaign, Rovers 100: Building Our Future.
As Hampton Rovers approaches its centenary in 2029, the club has set an ambitious target of raising $100,000 to support the future of the Rovers and invest in important projects and initiatives across the club.
Funds raised through the campaign will help support the ongoing operation of the club, assist in keeping football affordable for players and families, and contribute towards future projects and facility improvements.
Potential projects include new behind-goal netting, new and upgraded electronic scoreboards, facility improvements and other initiatives that enhance the experience for players, members and supporters.
With the end of the financial year approaching, now is an ideal time for supporters to consider making a tax deductible donation to the club.
Hampton Rovers has been a proud part of the Bayside community for almost a century and continues to provide opportunities for hundreds of players, volunteers, members and supporters each season.
The club thanks all members and supporters for their ongoing contribution to Hampton Rovers and looks forward to building a strong future together as we approach our centenary in 2029.
