It’s a huge day across the club this Saturday as all five senior Hampton Rovers teams play at home, including the senior men’s Round 4 clash against PEGS at Boss James Reserve and the 2026 Women’s Luncheon, raising funds for BCNA.
The senior men will be looking to bounce back after last week’s tough contest against ladder leaders Fitzroy, with Saturday marking the third of three consecutive home games to open the season. The match against PEGS gets underway at 2:00pm, following the Reserves at 11:40am.
Off the field, the club will host its annual Women’s Luncheon as part of Play4BCNA Pink Sports Day, supporting Breast Cancer Network Australia. More than 100 guests are expected to attend the function inside the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion, with strong demand for bookings following the success of the opening two home game luncheons this season. Final bookings are being taken now – get in quick.
The club is aiming to raise $2,500 for BCNA through raffles and auction items generously donated by supporters and sponsors. The Hampton Rovers have proudly supported BCNA and Pink Sports Day initiatives for almost a decade, with the event becoming one of the highlights of the season.
The luncheon will commence with a 12pm arrival for a 12:30pm start, with tickets available via the Hampton Rovers website at just $40 per person, or included as part of a 2026 Club Membership. Supporters are encouraged to book quickly to avoid missing out.
There is a full schedule of football across both Boss James Reserve and Castlefield Reserve throughout the day. The Senior Women kick things off against Old Camberwell at 9:20am at Castlefield Reserve, followed by the Thirds taking on Old Brighton at 11:30am.
Back at Boss James Reserve, the Reserves face PEGS at 11:40am before the senior men’s clash at 2:00pm, while the Under 19s round out the day against Beaumaris under lights at 4:45pm.
With football across two venues, a major fundraising luncheon, and a big crowd expected, it shapes as one of the biggest days of the season so far for the Rovers. Get along and show your support.
