It’s another big weekend for the Hampton Rovers, with the Senior Men and Reserves playing their final home and away games of 2026, while the Thirds/Development team and Under 19s continue their September push with finals action.
The Seniors travel to Gerry Green Reserve on Saturday to face second-placed Parkdale Vultures at 2:00pm in the final round of the Premier C home and away season.
With a finals berth already secured, the Rovers will be looking to finish the regular season strongly and take momentum into the semi final next week. The Reserves are also at Parkdale, commencing at 11:40am, and will be keen to finish their season on a positive note.
There’s plenty on the line for the Thirds/Development team, who face Marcellin in the Preliminary Final on Saturday, with the winner advancing to the Grand Final.
After earning the double chance, the Rovers went down to AJAX in last weekend’s Second Semi Final and now have another opportunity to keep their season alive.
The game will be played at the Kennedy Community Centre in Dingley, the new headquarters of Hawthorn Football Club, commencing at 11:40am. Entry is $12 for adults, $7 concession and free for kids.
The Under 19s begin their finals campaign on Saturday when they face Old Haileybury at Haileybury College in Keysborough.
The Rovers take to the field at 10:00am in their first final after securing a place in the division one finals following a strong home and away campaign. Entry is free, with the match being hosted by Haileybury.
With two finals and the last home and away games for our Senior Men and Reserves, there’s plenty at stake across Melbourne this Saturday.
