It’s a huge day at Boss James Reserve this Saturday as the Hampton Rovers host arch-rivals Ormond featuring a special ANZAC Day Home Game Luncheon.
The day will begin with a triple-header of footy, with the Under 19s kicking things off at 9:20am (against South Melbourne Districts), followed by the Reserves at 11:40am and the Seniors at 2:15pm.
Prior to the senior match just before 2pm, the club will hold its traditional on-ground ANZAC Day Ceremony in conjunction with the Hampton RSL, a meaningful and well-respected part of the day.
Inside the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion, the first Home Game Luncheon of the 2026 season promises to be another standout. The bar opens from 12pm, with formalities commencing at 12:30pm, and at just $40 per head it continues to offer outstanding value, widely regarded as one of the best match day functions in the VAFA.
Demand is strong, particularly with the significance of ANZAC Day and the rivalry with Ormond, so book your spot ASAP to avoid missing out.
The club is also encouraging supporters to purchase a 2026 Club Membership, which includes entry to home game luncheons across the season and represents excellent value, while directly supporting the Rovers both on and off the field.
With a big crowd expected, a full day of football, and one of the most important occasions on the calendar, it shapes as a fantastic day to get down to Boss James Reserve and be part of it.
