The Hampton Rovers Football Club is inviting all past players, officials and supporters to return to Boss James Reserve this Saturday 25 July for what promises to be one of the biggest and best days on the club calendar – Past Players Day and $2K Night.
Whether you played one game or 300, volunteered behind the scenes, or have simply been a loyal supporter over the years, we’d love to see you back at the club to reconnect with old teammates and friends. We inviting everyone from all eras to be part of the day!
The day begins with our Past Players Day Home Game Luncheon. The lunch runs from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion and is just $40 per person, including one of the best home game lunches in the VAFA. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, hear some stories from back in the day, and enjoy a great meal. Bookings are essential. Final bookings are now being taken!
On the field, the Senior Men take on Old Peninsula in an important Premier C Men’s clash as the boys look to consolidate their position in the top four (Reserves 11:40am, Seniors 2:00pm).
If you can’t make the luncheon, you’re still encouraged to come down and be part of the day. The bar will remain open inside from 2:00pm onwards, providing plenty of time to enjoy the footy and catch up with fellow Rovers across generations.
The celebrations continue after the final siren with the return of the popular $2K Night, commencing from 6:00pm.
Tickets are $50 per person and include:
- Three hours of all-inclusive beer, wine and soft drinks
- Dinner (Roast beef rolls)
- The chance to win the $2,000 cash prize
- A fantastic night of entertainment with players, supporters and friends of the club
Whether you’re joining us for lunch, the football, the evening function, or all three, it’s shaping as a fantastic day to celebrate everything that makes Hampton Rovers such a special club.
