Anthony Selby, a director at Pursue Health in Highett, continues as our Head Physiotherapist. He arranges our physios and sports trainers for all games each week and does a mighty job with his team providing increased coverage this year, so if you need some attention we highly recommend him.
Thanks to everyone who has already purchased a 2026 Club Membership. This is a crucial source of income for the club and the packages represent outstanding value, so I encourage everyone to sign up for the 2026 season – find out more here. Thanks also to those who have been able to assist our players with being Player Sponsors, it is greatly appreciated.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our games and home game luncheons throughout the season, and a reminder that we host Ormond in Round 2 on ANZAC Day which is our first home game of the season – bookings are now open for the lunch. I also welcome parents and supporters to the club each Thursday evening for selection night.
A huge thank you to all Roverians members for your continued support of the club. This season the Roverians have provided every registered senior player with Puma training singlets which look sensational, a very generous donation.
A thank you in advance to our band of volunteers throughout the season who without their support we simply couldn’t operate. We’re always looking for more people to help out, as the more people who put up their hand, the more we can spread the workload, so if you’re interested please speak with myself, Dean or Jamie.
This season will be my eighth and last year as President. After serving as Vice President for six years prior to that, the time has come to pass the baton on to the next person to lead us to our 100th year in 2029.
It has been an enormous privilege being able to assist the club and I could not have done that without the tireless assistance from the committee, thank you all.
GO ROVERS
