The 2025 Hampton Rovers Women’s Lunch will be held this Saturday, May 10 in the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion at Boss James Reserve, with the club raising funds for BCNA.
This function sells out every year, with 150 in attendance last year at Trevor Barker Oval. Now we’re back at our new club rooms, where capacity is about 130, so get in quick to secure your spot.
On the field, the Senior Men take on Fitzroy in round 5 of the VAFA Premier B season, with the Reserves at 11:40am and the Seniors at 2:00pm, followed by the U19s v St Kevin’s at 4:45pm under lights.
Off the field, the bar opens at midday with the Home Game Luncheon getting underway at 12:30pm and the bar remaining open throughout the day. There will be raffles, auctions & more!
As always, we’re ‘going Pink’ as part of PLAY4BCNA Round, supporting Australians affected by breast cancer and raising vital funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
The cost is just $40 per head (or included in your 2025 Club Membership), which includes a carvery lunch featuring endless sides, cheese & biscuits and sweets to finish. Drinks are available at Bar prices.
Book your spot now to avoid missing out! You can either pre-pay on the Rovers Online Shop or on the day (cash or card). Or support the club by purchasing a 2025 Club Membership, which includes entry to the event (click below).

Saturday’s fixtures have been locked in following the re-grading process, which has seen the U19s and Thirds moved down to a more competitive division. It’s a triple-header at the Boss with the Reserves & Seniors hosting Fitzroy, before the U19s host St Kevin’s in a twilight fixture. The Senior Women have an early start at Whitefriars, and the Thirds take on MHSOB at Melbourne High School (South Yarra) 11:30am.
