The Hampton Rovers Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member George Bird.
George is the father of Brian and Barry (who are both Life Members of the club) and Bruce (deceased). He was a Scout Master at First Hampton Scouts with Boss James and was a great club man, very well-liked and respected by all.
George passed away last week after long health battles, aged 94.
A funeral service for George Bird will be held this Thursday, August 4, 2:30pm at W.D. Rose Funerals – 221 Charman Rd, Cheltenham.
The club sends its condolences to the Bird family.
