The Rovers will launch the 2022 season on Sunday at Hotel Brighton, but first, will play their final practice game against Parkdale on Saturday.
On the weekend, the Seniors, Reserves and U19s all recorded convincing victories over Oakleigh in the first practice hit-outs of the year, in what were hot conditions at Parkdale Secondary College.
This Saturday, four Rovers teams are in action against Parkdale Vultures at Gerry Green Reserve. First up, the Under 19’s at 9:15am, followed by the Reserves at 11:00am.
Then it’s the Senior Men at 1:00pm, followed by the Senior Women in their first practice game of the year at 3:00pm.
On Sunday, the Hampton Rovers Senior Launch will be held at Hotel Brighton. Commencing at 4:00pm, the function will be held upstairs in the Empire Room. 2022 captains for our five senior teams will be announced and we’ll hear from the Coaches and President.
We will also be presenting 2021 Award Winners with their awards, due to last year’s Presentation Night going virtual while Melbourne was in lockdown.
Entry is FREE for players who’ve paid their 2022 subs and also 2022 Club Members. Otherwise tickets are available for just $10 each and must be pre-purchased from the Rovers Online Shop. Finger food included with drinks available at bar prices.

The 2022 season is just over a week away and the Seniors will host Marcellin in the season-opener at Boss James Reserve. It’s also the first Home Game Luncheon of the season and we’ll be taking bookings next week.
