The Hampton Rovers Football Club has supported the Salvo’s Red Shield Appeal for 20 years and this year it has gone digital and we’re asking for your support.
Usually this weekend, the club would have around 150 players across the juniors and seniors knocking on doors and rattling tins at local intersections. The club has helped raise over $200,000 for the Salvation Army over two decades thanks to the generosity of our local community.
With the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically affecting the lives of so many Australians, the annual Red Shield Appeal is more important than ever.
We can’t throw on the Rovers guernsey and take to the streets to knock on doors, but our support is still needed. Join the Hampton Rovers and donate to the Red Shield Appeal in just a few clicks.
We encourage you to share this link with the extended community to help us raise our annual goal of $10,000. Please pass it onto your family, friends and work colleagues. The Red Shield Appeal is this weekend (May 23-24), however you can make a donation now, right through until the end of June.
We need to come together as a virtual community to help those in need!
Additionally, for the weekly club raffle on June 11, the club will donate half of the proceeds to the Red Shield Appeal.
