All 200 tickets have been quickly snapped up for the 90th Year Celebration of the Hampton Rovers Football Club, to be held on June 22 at the Brighton Town Hall.
The major whole-club function of 2019 will celebration the club’s proud history. Demand was high with all tickets snapped up in just 19 days via the club’s online shop, and unfortunately no further tickets are available, with the venue at capacity.
Hampton Rovers’ own Brownlow Medallist and AFL Hall of Famer Ross Smith will be a guest speaker, talking about his early days at the Rovers and St Kilda. Current AFL players Angus and Andrew Brayshaw, who also played their junior footy at the club and are two of ten current Rovers/AFL players, will also be guests on the night as well as other club champions.
The club is also pleased to announce popular local band MLC (Mid Life Crisis) will be playing live on the night.
It promises to be a fantastic evening and there will be plenty of opportunity to get around the room and chat to others, with the speeches guaranteed not to dominate the function.
A number of Auction Items will be available on the night – view a list of items now. The club is still accepting items – If you can assist us by donating an item of value, please contact email@example.com.
The dress code for the evening is ‘cocktail’. The event will get underway at 7pm on Saturday June 22 at the Brighton Town Hall. Drinks will be available at bar prices – please help speed up service by bringing cash. We’re also offering $1 soft drinks for designated drivers as part of our commitment to TAC’s Towards Zero campaign.
We look forward to celebrating with so many past and present players, members, supporters, officials, friends and family from the Senior, Junior and Auskick sections of the club.
With the Seniors playing at home on the same day v Old Ivanhoe, the club is extending the 90th Year Celebrations to the round 10 Home Game Luncheon. Ross Smith will also be in attendance and we invite others to come along and make a day for it, especially if you were unable to secure tickets to the function. Just $30 per head or included in Club Membership – book now online.
