Saints drop in to Junior training

The Hampton Rovers U12 and U10 squads had some guests along to train them last week with several St Kilda players dropping into Castlefield Reserve to lend a hand.

The brand new playing surface at Ludstone Street was graced by champion ball magnets Jack Stevens & Luke Dunstan who got their hands dirty with the Rovers chargers as did Gun tall’s in Tom Hickey, Tom Simpkin & Daniel Mc Kenzie.

One Young Under 10 Silver player, dashing champion, Brodie Jeffrey had a special day as he celebrated his 10th Birthday in style. He was presented with a signed Saints #7 jumper by his hero Luke Dunstan, a cake and Happy Birthday was sung loud by all attendees.

All the Rovers had a pep in their step & the Saints lads approve of plenty they witnessed.

Jem Thomas, Charlie Bartel, Jake Tarranto & Jake Marshall couldn’t believe the Sainter’s were at Castlefield to watch them train.
