What a great result having two teams in Under 10.
We made a leap into East division which can be a huge challenge and it was. Our twenty eager and motivated boys thrived on the challenge of playing against some very talented teams. We learnt that winning wasnt always going to be a normal occurrence and how the development of the team was far more rewarding. It was exciting to witness the different improvements in every player. Confidence is everything in junior football. And with the extra challenge came the personal individual wins that every player made.
As a group of twenty eager and highly motivated ten year olds we won a handful of games during the year. The attendance at training never dropped off and the cheek and personality coming from the group didnt decrease.
We arrived at Lightening Premiership day with zero expectation.
Playing some teams we hadnt played before the boys played out of their skin and walked away with another flag. Three in three years. Unheard of but well received by all.
