It is every boy’s dream to enter the MCG with tens of thousands cheering you on to the hallowed turf and when your heart beats true for the Red and the Blue on Jim Stynes tribute day then that makes for a special moment in any young mans life.
Jakub Williams is affectionately known as Kuba, he is a very well rounded sport star, Kuba loves Football and is a vital member of the under 10 West team, he always has a smile on his face and has a great sense of humour, very respectful and well mannered.
Kuba loves Football and Athletics, he won his cross country race at school recently and declared this his favourite sports moment, he is very popular with his mates and loves learning new ways to improve his sport all the time.
Kuba’s Grandfather Don was named in the Demons team of the century having played in the great era of 50s and 60s, Don Williams played in 205 games, 7 grand Finals for 5 premierships in 55, 56, 57, 59 and the Demons last flag in 1964. Don was coached by the great Norm Smith and played alongside Ron Barassi, what an amazing record, Aron Davey is Kubas favourite current player.
Kuba was asked to run through the banner Last week and do the pregame warm up with his heroes in the famous Demon colours, here he is entering the stadium with Demons Captain Jack Trengove, he met many Demon champions on the day including David Neitz and Robbie Flower!!
Keep dreaming Kuba & work hard and you never know, one day you may just emulate your Grandpa..
