Despite a large Hampton Rovers contingent, the MSJFL reprsentative teams fell short in the U14 and U15 Grand Finals.
The MSJFL were unsuccessful in both attempts for the Holy Grail in the Vic Metro Junior Champs.
The Under 14 Grand Final result was:
MSJFL defeated by YJFL 4.9.33 to 12.7.79

A big congratulations to all players and teams and while they did not win the championships, it has been an enormous achievement for the MSJFL to reach the Grand Finals for both age groups. The MSJFL look forward to watching these players continue to develop over the next few years.
The other interleague teams performed exceptionally well, with the U15 Division 2 team also narrowly missing out on the Grand Final via percentage only.
