Juniors

Top season for Rovers Juniors

It has been an outstanding year for the Hampton Rovers Football Club, both on and off the field, and the junior teams have had outstanding success with eight of a possible nine teams making the finals resulting in four premierships, while five players won their respective league best and fairests.

In 2008, the Hampton Rovers had 397 players spanning 14 teams. Eight of the nine teams that have a finals series qualified with Under 14 Division 1, Under 13 East, Under 12 South and Under 11 West all winning premierships.

Twelve players from the club made MSJFL representative teams (one was captain) and five won league best and fairests. See below for the full results.

Off the field, the Rovers social scene was strong as always, while the club also raised funds and awareness for Beyond Blue, Ovarian Cancer and the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal. All of this makes the Hampton Rovers one of the leading sporting club’s in the area and we look forward to more success as the club goes from strength to strength.
