It has been another great year for the Hampton Rovers junior teams in 2008. 8 out of a possible 9 teams made the finals with 4 teams playing in Grand Finals this Sunday and another still in the hunt. Meanwhile at the MSJFL U11-U13 Presentation Night, 3 Rovers players won their league best & fairest awards.
Under 11 West & the U14s won their finals on the weekend and now join U12 East, U12 South & U13 East playing off in Grand Finals this Sunday.
The Under 15s unfortunately lost their 2nd Semi-final, but live to fight another day and play off for a grand final spot in next weeks preliminary final. Sadly for our U13 South and U12 South they both lost their preliminary finals on the weekend, which ends their 2008 season. The players, and coaching staff, should be congratulated and can hold their heads high. They all did themselves and the club proud. A wonderful effort by both these teams.

Win, lose or draw this weekend, everyone is invited back to the clubrooms on Sunday. Food & soft drinks will be provided for the kids, and the Bar will be open for the adults to dissect the 2008 season. (and hopefully bask in the glory!) The rooms will be open from 5pm.
