The Rovers U10 West team welcomed Melbourne players Nathan Carroll and Paul Johnson to their training session on Tuesday May 27th.
Paul took on the role of coach and referee while the boys showed their enthusiasm and competitiveness in a practice game under lights. Paul was surprised at the high level of skill from the boys and was kept busy with the pace. Afterwards Nathan and Paul fielded a variety of questions from the group, which included ?what does it feel like to play in a game thats drawn?? and ?do you have any idea how many stats you?re going to rack up in a game when you run out to play??
