Each year the MSJFL invites selected players from all competing clubs to try out for league representative teams. This year, 25 Hampton Rovers players have been invited to try out for the U13, U14 & U15 interleague teams.
The first training run was held last Sunday and all were put through their paces and performed well. This will be a great learning experience for these kids and one which they will benefit as individuals and as footballers. Whether they make the final team or not, this is an outstanding achievement by all the boys and we wish them well. Congratulations to all these boys, they have done themselves, their families and the club very proud.
Also two of our coaches have also been recruited to help out. Andrew Mirams and Ron Verma are assistant coaches for the U14 & U13 interleague teams.
