It’s another big day at Boss James Reserve this Saturday as the Hampton Rovers host Fitzroy in Round 3, with the second Home Game Luncheon of the 2026 season set to again draw a strong crowd. Book your spot now.
Following last week’s sold-out ANZAC Day function which attracted 126 guests, we again encourage all members and supporters to get in quick and book your spot as soon as possible for the second match day function of the year.
The bar will open from 12pm, with lunch served from 12:30pm inside the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion. At just $40 per head, or included as part of a 2026 Club Membership, it continues to represent outstanding value and one of the best match day experiences in the VAFA.
On the field, the senior men’s clash shapes as one of the games of the round, with both Hampton Rovers and Fitzroy entering the match undefeated after the opening two rounds. Both clubs returned to Premier C this season after relegation from Premier B, adding further significance to the contest as they look to establish themselves as early benchmarks in the competition.
It also marks the second of three consecutive home games for the Rovers, presenting a great opportunity to build momentum both on and off the field in front of the home crowd.
It’s a full day of football at Boss James Reserve, with the Reserves kicking off against Fitzroy at 11:40am, followed by the senior match at 2:00pm. The Thirds will take on AJAX in a big match under lights commencing at 7:30pm to round out the day at home.
Elsewhere, the Senior Women travel to face UHS-VU at Brens Oval at 9:20am, while the Under 19s are away to Parkdale Vultures at Gerry Green Reserve beginning at 4:45pm. View all fixtures here.
With another big crowd expected, a top-of-the-table clash, and a full day of football, it shapes as a fantastic opportunity to get down and support the Rovers.

Bookings for the Home Game Luncheon can be made via the club website or directly through Gary Nash. Show your support for the club and purchase a 2026 Club Membership today…
