The Rovers sit third on the table, equal on points with second-placed Carey, one win behind ladder leaders Ajax. After coming down from Premier B, Ajax has lost just the one game this season – to Parkdale in round 5. This Saturday’s round 14 fixture is a big one in the context of the Rovers’ top-two chances.
It’s a triple-header with the Thirds playing their final match of the season, against Mentone at 9:20am, followed by the Reserves (11:40am) and Seniors (2:00pm) vs Ajax.
It’s the last of nine Hampton Rovers Home Game Luncheons for the 2024 season at the Sandy by the Bay Function Centre and we’re expecting another big 100+ attendance. We’ll be celebrating 20 years since the 2004 Reserves Premiership (over Ajax), 40 years since the 1984 Reserves Premiership and acknowledging Steve Anderson’s amazing 500th club game milestone.
