The Hampton Rovers are back at Trevor Barker Oval on Saturday hosting Marcellin. Book in now for the Home Game Luncheon at Sandy by the Bay, featuring guest speaker Mark Brayshaw this week.
Both the Seniors and Reserves recorded strong victories at Sandringham last weekend over PEGS and will be looking to put on another solid performance this Saturday in round 8 of the VAFA season.
Our Home Game Luncheons have been a hit this year and we again had 100 in attendance on the weekend. This week our guest speaker is Mark Brayshaw, while Rovers senior coach Marty Pask will also speak at the Lunch. Mark is a former North Melbourne player, Richmond CEO, current Board member of North Melbourne and most importantly former chair of the Hampton Rovers Board. He has three sons who all played footy at the Rovers, Andrew currently captain of Fremantle, Hamish currently captain at East Perth and Angus who was recently forced to retire from AFL footy following a number of concussions.
The cost is $40 per head for the best luncheon in the Ammo’s, or entry is included in your 2024 Club Membership. Book online here or contact Gary Nash directly. After this week, the club only has four remaining home games at Sandringham due to the majority of home games in the first half of the season, so make sure you get along and experience the hospitality.
Please note, no canteen this week at Trevor Barker Oval – food and drinks are available from the service station located adjacent to the ground, on Beach Road. Coffee is available upstairs at Sandy by the Bay.
