The Hampton Rovers Seniors are back in action on Saturday, hosting PEGS at Trevor Barker Oval. This weekend features four home games at three different grounds, with Past Players & Supporters Day at Sandy.
The Rovers will be looking to get back on the winners list after a couple of defeats to top four opposition. A number of changes to the lineup for this 4th v 5th battle. Get along to Trevor Barker Oval to see it unfold. Please note, no canteen this week – food and drinks are available from the service station located adjacent to the ground, on Beach Road.
Past Players & Supporters Day is on this Saturday with the big Home Game Luncheon commencing at 12 midday. It’s not too late to book if you’re yet to do so. This day has been a big one in recent years, with crowds packing out Boss James Reserve. This year due to its redevelopment, we’re at Sandringham’s Trevor Barker Oval with the function being held in the magnificent Sandy by the Bay function centre. We welcome along all past players and supporters from all eras as we celebrate the mighty green & gold. The cost is $40 per head for the best luncheon in the Ammo’s. The Thirds kick off the day, hosting Old Scotch at Boss James from 9:20am, while the Senior Women host Richmond Central at Castlefield Reserve at 11:40am. The U19s are away to Glen Eira under lights from 4:45pm.
