Final Home Game: Rovers v Mazenod

The Rovers host Mazenod in the final home game of the 2023 season and its the final Home Game Luncheon inside the social rooms as we know them.

Following the 2023 season, major redevelopment works will commence on the Wright-Scarlett Pavilion to upgrade the facility. Luncheons have been held inside the current rooms for every senior home game since they opened in 2002 – that’s about 175 in total. This will be the last in which the senior team enters the ground through the social rooms as that’ll be a thing of the past in the new facility. We’ll reminisce about the clubrooms and hear about what’s ahead.

We welcome all past players and supporters along for this last hurrah and we expect it to sell-out, so get in quick to reserve your seat. Book online here or contact Gary Nash directly. 12pm for a 12:30pm start – just $30 per head with drinks available at bar prices.

Saturday will also be Anthony Quon’s final home game in charge following last week’s announcement that he’ll be stepping down at the conclusion of the 2023 season. We’ll hear from him at the Luncheon.

The Rovers are looking to finish the season on a high. A couple of wins could see the boys finish as high as fifth. In the final round, it’s an away trip to arch rivals Ormond, before the focus turns to the Rovers Under 19s who are guaranteed a spot in the Division 1 finals series.
