After an away trip in the opening round, the Rovers will host arch rivals Ormond in the first home game of the season at Boss James Reserve in round two.
The 2023 VAFA Premier C Men’s season commences on Saturday 15th April, with the Rovers travelling to Bulleen to face Marcellin, before a big home game the following week.
The clash coincides with it being ANZAC weekend, a round in which the club will honour the fallen with our traditional on-ground ANZAC ceremony before the game.
Since 2002, the two clubs have met on 24 occasions. The record stands at 12 wins for the Rovers, 11 for Ormond, and one draw.
Round three will see an away trip against the newly-promoted Old Camberwell, before a short trip to Parkdale in round four. The Rovers host 2022 Division One Premiers PEGS in round six at the Boss, and Old Carey, who are the sole team relegated from Premier B, in round eight.
Unfortunately Old Mentonians have withdrawn from the competition since the release of the fixture, meaning there is now a bye in each round of Premier C Men’s.
