Olli Hotton becomes a Saint in AFL Draft

Hampton Rovers player Olli Hotton has been picked up by the St Kilda Football Club in the 2022 AFL Draft.

Olli was picked at number 35 by the Saints on Tuesday evening. He first pulled on the green & gold in 2012, playing 113 games for the Rovers, including one game this year (coached by senior players Ryan Fogarty & James Prosser in the U17s), between his Sandringham Dragons commitments.

After a slow start to 2022 due to injury, he surged up draft boards mid-season, earning Vic Metro selection and impressing on the national stage, with 17 disposals and 2 goals against the Allies and 24 touches against SA.

The son of former Collingwood and Carlton tall forward Trent Hotton, Olli is the 8th Hampton Rovers player currently on an AFL list and a great pickup for the Saints.

The club congratulates Olli and wishes him all the best for his AFL career.
