The Seniors will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing outing last weekend, when the Rovers host PEGS on Saturday at Boss James Reserve.
It was just one of days out at Ivanhoe with the Rovers posting their lowest score of the season, however the players get the perfect opportunity to rebound and play the brand of footy they’re capable of doing which resulted in three wins from the previous three matches. A win on Saturday against the bottom-placed PEGS would restore the Rovers to a 4-4 record.
The Essendon boys broke through for their first victory of the season two weeks ago against Old Camberwell but lost to Mazenod last weekend. The Rovers have five ins to the side this week.
The Rovers Reserves are running hot, now equal-top on the ladder after defeating the previously undefeated Old Ivanhoe last weekend. The boys will be looking to keep their run going and improve their percentage to inch closer to the Hoers.
