Sports Trainers required for 2019

Hampton Rovers Football Club is looking for sports trainers to join the team for the 2019 season.

Opportunities are available to work with our seniors, under 19s team and two women’s teams. Availability primarily on a Saturday, or a Sunday, or both, is necessary. In addition to the weekend, the applicant needs to also be available for at least one of Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evening training sessions.

Depending on availability, the successful candidates will be allocated a team that they will look after for the majority of season.

Education/experience history:

Qualified sports trainers are welcome to apply along with students studying an allied health profession (such as Physiotherapy, Myotherapy, Podiatry, etc.) are preferred but not necessary for the right applicant


  • Pre-match preparation; Taping, Massage, organising water bottles/kits,
  • Running water
  • Injury Management
  • First Aid


  • Level 1 sports trainer (or willing to obtain this)
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Flexible availability
  • Must be willing to obtain an ABN (this is how you will be paid)
