Hope everyone is enjoying the off-season and gearing up for Christmas.
The Club has been very active in off-field preparations with some big announcements to be published in the next few weeks. The addition of Peter O’Dea is a great win for the club and a great fit for someone who wants to help develop a talented young group.
At this stage there are signs that we may be able to produce two Under 19 teams again so this is what we are aiming for in fixturing and staff. This age group is always hard to predict, however we are working hard to fill two teams. All current players……please recruit a mate down to training.
The AGM is on Monday evening at Boss James Reserve, and we are still looking for a Senior President & Secretary for 2019. Your timing could not be better as a lot of the hard work and key decisions are done and dusted. Please contact me steve.anderson@hamptonrovers.com.au, you are going to have a truck load of support in the background.
Lastly, to all eras and past players, start to contact you ex-teammates and get to a few games early on so you have plenty to talk about when we celebrate and 90 Year Anniversary of the Club and 40 Year Anniversary of our Juniors. Stay tuned for a massive joint gala ball to celebrate this big occasion.
