The Hampton Rovers Football Club welcomes Peter O’Dea as Senior Assistant Coach for the 2019 VAFA season.
Peter comes with huge experience, having previously been development coach at the Sandringham Zebras in the VFL, senior coach at Murrumbeena and more recently, senior assistant to Mark ‘Choco’ Williams at Ajax.
Peter said upon his appointment, “I’m excited to join this young group who have now had a few years of senior experience and are ready to take the next step up the grades in the VAFA.”
Hampton Rovers secured immediate promotion back to the Premier grades of the VAFA under Anthony Quon in his first full year as senior coach, after finishing on top of the ladder and reaching the Grand Final in division one this year.
The club wishes to thank Trent Pitts who has had to step down due to family and work commitments. His commitment and guidance throughout 2018 was huge for the Rovers. The club wishes him well.
2019 Pre-Season Training gets underway on Monday 19th November at Boss James Reserve, then every Monday and Wednesday following at St James College, Bignell Rd, East Bentleigh, with all sessions commencing at 6pm. All new and existing players are welcome.
