The club is saddened to hear of the passing of James Fletcher.
He passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, following several months of illness.
James is well known by many at the club, having been the number one supporter of son Leigh throughout his time at the Rovers – attending every game and there at functions throughout the journey.
James’ funeral will be held at the Springvale Cemetery in the Renowden Chapel on Thursday 14 September commencing at 1:30pm. The wake will follow at the Sandringham Football Club (Sandy by the Bay @ Trevor Barker Oval).
The club encourages players and supporters to wear your club polo at the funeral to show your support.
