Vale Craig Watkins

The Hampton Rovers Football Club is saddened to hear of the passing of Craig “Crazy” Watkins.

Craig played a total of 94 games for the club between 1980 and 1985 – seven senior, 55 reserves and 32 under 19 games. He won the ressies B&F in the 1984 premiership year.

Crazy was a tough hard-nosed defender, a popular mate to many and will be sorely missed.

The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support and invite you to join us to celebrate Craig’s life on Monday 14th August at Bunurong Memorial Park, 790 Frankston-Dandenong Rd, Dandenong South at 11.30am. The wake will be held at Boss James Reserve following the service.

Our thoughts are with Leane and family.

Craig is pictured in the above 1984 seniors team photo – bottom row, second from right.
