The club was saddened to hear of the passing of Life Member Mel Wilson recently.
Mel had a long involvement in the Hampton Rovers Football Club and did numerous jobs over the years. Mel was Gailene Combe’s and Ron Wilson’s father and Tim Wilson’s grandfather.
He also had a BEM (British Empire Medal) against his name.
The club sends its condolences to the family.
