Seniors

Rovers away v Haileybury

Hampton Rovers make the short trip to Princes Park in Caulfield on Saturday to face ladder-leaders Old Haileybury.

The Rovers are coming off a great win over Old Geelong last week at Boss James Reserve and find themselves three and three and equal-third on the ladder going into the round seven clash, while the Bloods have dropped just the one game.

A few good ins for the Rovers and the boys will be looking to put in a strong performance. Last year, it was Hampton who defeated Old Haileybury on both occasions in Premier B, however the Bloods have been playing good footy under new coach Daniel Ward. Of course, new Rovers coach Daniel Hughes, coached Saturday’s opposition for the past two years and should know a thing or two about the side.

The seniors kick-off at 2:00pm with the Reserves at 11:40am. Supporters are encouraged to get along and show their support. Follow the Rovers social channels for live coverage from Princes Park including @HRAFC on Twitter and access all the live VAFA scores via the Rovers website and mobile site.

It’s an Under 19 double-header at Boss James Reserve with Sam Care’s two’s kicking-off the action at 11:40am against St John’s and John Cesario’s one’s taking on Old Ivanhoe at 2:00pm.

The Senior Women’s side faces Melbourne University on Sunday at Boss James Reserve starting at 2:50pm – the girl’s first game back at the Boss since the big season opener.
