Hampton Rovers make the short trip to Princes Park in Caulfield on Saturday to face Old Haileybury in round seven of the VAFA season.
While the Rovers have had a winless start to 2016, confidence is growing amongst the young side with performances improving each week. There were many positives taken from last week’s clash against ladder-leaders Beaumaris and the boys will be looking to take that form into Saturday’s match.
It’s the first time the two sides have met since 2010 and Old Haileybury sit fourth on the Premier B ladder on three wins, since their promotion to the section after claiming the Premier B premiership last year.
The Rovers side has three changes to it and the boys are raring to go. Get along and show your support as the Rovers chase that first win. The Seniors commence at 2:00pm with the Reserves at 11:40am.
You can get Live Scores of the seniors and all VAFA games via the Rovers website and mobile site. And don’t forget to follow the Rovers on our social media channels to stay up-to-date with all the action: Facebook (fb.com/hamptonrovers, Twitter (@HRAFC) and Instagram (hamptonrovers).
The Under 19s travel to Albert Park to face Collegians and will be looking to get back on the winners list after going down to the top side last week. Both sides are mid-table on three wins. The match commences at 2:00pm at Harry Trott Oval.
