Hall of Fame Lunch Function #1

Club legends will be inducted into the Hampton Rovers Hall of Fame for the first time since 2004, at three functions this year, commencing with this Saturday’s Home Game Lunch v Beaumaris.

Hampton Rovers host Beaumaris in round 6 of the VAFA season this Saturday at Boss James Reserve and this will coincided with the first of three Hall of Fame functions of the year. Please note these luncheons will commence at the earlier time of 11:30am.

There will be four individuals inducted this Saturday with a further 10 inducted across another two luncheons this year (Round 9 v Old Scotch – 4th June & Round 13 v Ajax – 16th July).

The Hampton Rovers AFC Hall of Fame recognises players and/or coaches who have excelled both on and off the field. The Hall of Fame was established in 2004 where at the club’s 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner, held at the Brighton International on July 17, thirteen men were inducted, with all eight living inductees in attendance. In 2016, there will be 14 club legends inducted to make up for the fact there have been no additions since the first in 2004.

The Hampton Rovers Board of Management appointed a Hall of Fame sub-committee who’ve worked tirelessly to elect this round of inductees. A strict criteria applies and all those inducted are absolute legends of our great club.
