The Rovers play their second practice game of the year this Saturday, with two early games against Mordialloc at Ben Kavanagh Reserve while the U19s are in action on Sunday.
After a win over Ormond in the first practice hit-out two weeks ago, the boys will be looking to step-up preparations against the Southern Football League division one side on Saturday morning.
With a number of players still unavailable, a number of youngsters will be given a chance at senior footy. There are a few positions available for players wanting a run.
We welcome all supporters along to see the boys in action. You can also keep up to date via the Rovers Twitter account (@HRAFC) or here.
Due to the ground being unavailable in the afternoon, both games kick-off early, with the Reserves at 8:30am and the Seniors at 10:30am, wrapping up at 12:30pm. Ben Kavanagh Reserve is located in McDonald Street in Mordialloc (view map).
The Under 19s take on St Bedes/Mentone Tigers at Tatterson Park (Springers Leisure Centre) on Sunday commencing at 10:00am.
Meanwhile, training has now moved to Tuesday’s and Thursday’s commencing at 6pm at Boss James Reserve. We welcome all new and existing players along and the new season fast approaches. Click here for full details.
