The club is saddened to report the passing of life member Dave Mather.
Dave was the Reserves premiership captain/coach in 1965 and while there was nothing fancy about the way he played, he was a very determined, rough & ready player who gave his all, be it at CHB or on the ball as an undersized ruckman.
He continued to support the Hampton Rovers Football Club, serving on the committee and was awarded Life Membership.
The Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mr David Havelock Mather was held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Hampton on Wednesday 13th January.
The Hampton Rovers Committee extends its deepest sympathy to the Mather family.
