The club is saddened by the sudden loss of long-time supporter Mike Woods who passed away on the weekend.
Mike is the founder of Sportsmart who have been a major sponsor of the Hampton Rovers Football Club for many years. A club member, Mike regularly attended Rovers matches both home & away and came along to the majority of home game luncheons.
Mike unexpectedly passed away on Saturday evening following a heart attack aged 66.
The Rovers committee sends its deepest condolences to Pam, Gerrard, Lisa, Peter and the entire Woods family.
The Funeral Mass to honour the life of Mr Michael Gerard (Tiger) Woods will be offered at St Catherine’s Catholic Church, cnr Buchan and Fletcher Streets, Moorabbin on Wednesday (November 25) at 12 noon.
