The Hampton Rovers host Old Melburnians this Saturday in the penultimate home game of 2015 and we invite everyone to the second-last luncheon of the season.
Melburnians sit third on the VAFA Premier B ladder and are all but assured of a top-four finish but continue to vie for a top-two finish, while the Rovers sit seventh, guaranteed to consolidate their spot in Premier B section for 2016 and looking to finish the season strongly.
This Saturday we’ll be celebrating the 1965 Reserves Premiership win and we extend a special invitation to players and supporters from that era. We’re also recognising the 80th anniversary of Ken Trinnick winning the 1935 VAFA Best & Fairest – his second on three. Some of Noel’s family will be present on Saturday and we welcome those who were around when he was playing or coaching.
Come along and enjoy the lunch prior to the main game. Attendances have been fantastic this year and the food spectacular. All-in-all, one of the best luncheons in the Ammo’s. The cost is just $30 per head. To book, please contact Gary Nash on gnash@jte.com.au or 0407 313 054 to reserve your spot.
